Credeam că m-am obișnuit cu felul în care termină Erin Watt cărțile , dar faptul că Steve trăiește? Brooke moartă? Reed acuzat?Vai ... mai nu am făcut un atac de cord până am terminat cartea. Pot spune cu mâna pe inimă că m-a captivat total.
După cum spuneam , în acest volum Reed este acuzat de crimă și pare că sorții sunt împotriva lui.Singura care crede negreșit în el este Ella și mă bucur că pe parcursul cărții relația lor nu a fost distrusă , chiar dacă Steve a forțat nota atunci când a aflat cu cine era în relație fiica sa.Pe tot parcursul cărții ei au fost nevoiți să se furișeze și, ei bine pot să spun că personajul lui Steve m-a făcut să îmi smulg părul de pe cap. Da, chiar așa.. În primul rând interdicția lui prostească și mai apoi faptul că era prea obsedat să controleze viața Ellei. Din cauza lui, Ella nu a mai putut să lucreze la brutărie și sunt total revoltată. Am observat și o anumită tensiune între Steve și Deliah.
Dar chiar nu mă așteptam la finalul ce a urmat.De asemenea am descoperit ceva nou despre fiecare Royal în parte.

“I have a feeling they aren’t talking about cookies,” Easton remarks.”

Dad sighs. The twins snicker. Even the cops look like they’re trying not to laugh.”
“Because you keep watching football in there,” she mutters as we lead her away. “I expect you to clean it the moment we get back.”
